Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of swine production across stages (breeding to finishing).
• Manage inventory of swine, semen, feed, and supplies.
• Monitor herd health, feed efficiency, and animal performance to meet targets.
• Analyze financial reporting and adjust to meet budget; perform SOAP analysis when applicable.
• Implement and enforce biosecurity protocols to prevent disease outbreaks.
• Maintain appropriate environmental conditions for animal welfare.
• Supervise, train, and develop farm employees; ensure protocol adherence.
• Organize work schedules and daily task assignments to maximize efficiency.
• Foster a safe, collaborative, and continuously improving work environment.
• Conduct interviews, performance evaluations, and provide coaching.
