Job summary

Life Time Inc. in Urbandale, IA is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to join our fast-paced aquatic program.

You will assist the Head Swim Team Coach by helping design and lead group workouts, register new participants, and ensure the aquatics facilities remain safe and clean for members. You will work with our coaching team to help swimmers master technique, promote Life Time products and services, and support a welcoming, inclusive environment for all ages and abilities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• ASCA and USA Swimming memberships.
• Lifeguard certifications and CPR/First Aid.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coach with designing and leading group workouts.
• Register new participants for the Swim Team.
• Maintain cleanliness and order of aquatics facilities.
• Offer competitive swimmers opportunities to master technique.
• Run daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
