Job summary
Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to work with the Head Swim Team Coach on planning and leading workouts for the team in state-of-the-art pools, indoors and outdoors. You will help register new participants and maintain clean, orderly aquatics facilities.
The role requires coaching experience, lifesaving certifications, and the ability to communicate effectively with guests about Life Time products and services. Work is performed in a busy club environment.
Qualifications
- 1 year of swim coaching experience
- ASCA member
- USA Swimming member
- Life Time Swim Instructor Certification (must complete)
- Ability to stand for long periods and move around the club
- Ability to communicate with guests about Life Time products and services
- Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping
- Ability to lift 20 lbs repeatedly and up to 20 lbs occasionally
- Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid (or bridge to StarGuard when expired)
- Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire
- Must complete Life Time Education requirements
- ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique
- Runs daily practices under the direction of the head coach
- Promotes all Life Time products, services and programs
