Job summary

Life Time Inc. is seeking an Aquatics Assistant Swim Team Coach to support the head coach in developing swimmer technique and leading daily practices across Life Time pools. You will assist with registering new participants and maintaining pool area cleanliness and organization, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the head coach, adherence to aquatics standards, and active promotion of Life Time products and programs within the club setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1 year of swim coaching experience.
• Member of ASCA.
• Member of USA Swimming.
• Successfully complete and pass Life Time Swim Instructor Certification.
• Ability to work in a stationary position and move about the club for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to communicate and exchange information with guests who have inquiries about Life Time products and services.
• Ability to swim 25 yards/meters without stopping.
• Ability to routinely bend to lift 20 lbs or less and occasionally more than 20 lbs.
• Lifeguard certification to StarGuard Elite Lifeguard, BLS CPR, and First Aid Certified (or bridge to StarGuard when current certification expires or within 1st year).
• Lifeguard Certification within 60 days of hire.
• Must complete all job specific requirements with Life Time Education.
• ASCA Level 1 Certification or higher (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Offers competitive swimmers the opportunity to master technique.
• Runs daily practices under the direction of the head coach.
• Promotes all Life Time products, services and programs.
