Job summary

SafeSplash Lexington is seeking a Lifeguard to ensure a safe pool environment for guests and kids. Monitor the pool, act quickly in emergencies, and provide CPR/AED as needed.

The role requires Red Cross Lifeguard certification, CPR/AED for all ages, and readiness to complete prerequisites. Prior swim-instruction experience is a plus in a friendly, community-minded facility with flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer.
• Be able to perform emergency care and provide treatment until EMS arrival.
• Keep the pool area clean and safe per facility standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area.
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until EMS arrival.
• Perform duties to maintain a clean and safe facility.
• Ensure pool area is supervised per American Red Cross standards.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is preferred
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
