Job summary

Safesplash San Ramon is hiring a Lifeguard. You will supervise pool activities, respond to emergencies, and maintain a safe, clean facility with Red Cross standards in mind.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and Red Cross CPR/AED for adult, child and infant.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.
• Able to complete lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain constant surveillance of pool patrons and act quickly in emergencies.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Keep the facility clean and safe according to standards.
• Ensure pool area is supervised per American Red Cross guidelines.

What will you do as a Lifeguard?

• Maintain constant surveillance of patrons in the pool area; act immediately and appropriately to secure safety of customers in the event of an emergency
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services
• Perform various duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe facility
• Make sure the pool area is always properly supervised and attended in accordance to American Red Cross standards

What are we looking for in a Lifeguard?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
