A leading swim instruction provider in Round Rock, Texas is seeking a passionate Deck Supervisor. In this role, you will ensure safety as the lifeguard on duty, assist swimmers, and maintain required certifications. Candidates with previous swim instruction experience are highly preferred. Qualifications

• Maintain current Red Cross Lifeguard and CPR/AED certifications.
• Experience in swim instruction is essential.
• Ability to meet American Red Cross lifeguarding standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Enforce safety regulations and observe the pool area.
• Assist swimmers and instructors as necessary.
• Provide emergency care until medical services arrive.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports.

What will you do as a Deck Supervisor?

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards
• Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.

What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
