Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster, PA is seeking a Deck Supervisor to oversee pool safety, monitor daily activities, and support swimmers and instructors from the deck.

You will check in families, guide children to their instructors, and assist staff as needed. The role requires a friendly, energetic team member who enjoys working with kids and families; CPR/AED certification is preferred and lifting up to 75 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children and supporting families.
• Red Cross CPR/AED certification preferred.
• Previous swim instruction experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Observe and patrol the pool area to maintain safety.
• Check-in families and direct children to instructors.
• Assist swimmers and instructors from the deck as needed.

What will you do as a Deck Supervisor?

• Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, maintain safety
• Check-in families and direct children to their instructors
• Assist swimmers and instructors from the deck as needed

What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor?

• A happy, energetic team member who loves working with children and supporting families with kindness and patience.
• Preferable but not required to maintain Red Cross CPR/AED certification
• Preferable for previous swim instruction experience
• This position requires the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods while supervising pool operations and assisting staff or swimmers, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds when necessary.
