Job summary

SafeSplash Lancaster, PA invites a friendly Deck Supervisor to join our Hershey location team, overseeing pool activities, assisting instructors, and ensuring child safety on deck. You’ll check-in families, guide children to instructors, and help monitor a busy pool environment with patience and energy.

Ideal candidates enjoy working with kids, stay on their feet for long periods, and may hold CPR/AED certification. Opportunities for advancement and paid training are available.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy working with children and supporting families with kindness and patience.
• CPR/AED certification is preferred but not required.
• Experience in swim instruction is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check-in families and direct children to instructors.
• Assist swimmers and instructors from the deck as needed.
• Observe and patrol the pool area to ensure safety.

What will you do as a Deck Supervisor?

• Check-in families and direct children to their instructors
• Assist swimmers and instructors from the deck as needed
• Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area

What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor?

• A happy, energetic team member who loves working with children and supporting families with kindness and patience.
• Preferable but not required to maintain Red Cross CPR/AED certification
• Preferable for previous swim instruction experience
• This position requires the ability to remain on your feet for extended periods while supervising pool operations and assisting staff or swimmers, including lifting, pushing, or pulling up to 75 pounds when necessary.
