Job summary

SafeSplash Denver (Park Hill) is seeking a Deck Supervisor to oversee pool safety and operations. You will serve as the lifeguard on duty, observe and patrol the pool area, and assist swimmers and instructors as needed to ensure a safe environment.

The role requires Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED certification for adults, infants, and swimmers, as well as prior swim instruction experience. You will be responsible for emergency care until EMS arrives and for documenting incidents.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification required (American Red Cross).
• CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer required.
• Previous swim instruction experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Observe and patrol the pool area, enforce safety regulations per American Red Cross Lifeguard standards.
• Assist swimmers and swim instructors as needed.
• Provide emergency care and treatment until EMS arrival.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports.

What will you do as a Deck Supervisor?

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards
• Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed
• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.
• Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.

What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer
• Previous swim instruction experience is required
• Must be able to successfully complete all lifeguarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards
