Job summary

SafeSplash Lakewood is hiring a Deck Supervisor to oversee pool safety and supervision at our Lakewood location. You will guard the pool, enforce Red Cross standards, assist swimmers and instructors, and respond to emergencies as needed.

We welcome candidates with lifeguard and CPR/AED credentials and swim-instruction experience. This role offers flexible scheduling and opportunities for growth within the SafeSplash team.

Qualifications

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification and CPR/AED.
• Prior swim-instruction experience required.
• Complete all lifeguard prerequisites to ARC standards.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.
• Observe and patrol pool area, enforcing safety regulations per ARC standards.
• Assist swimmers and instructors as needed.
• Provide emergency care until EMS arrives.
• Prepare and maintain incident reports.

What will you do as a Deck Supervisor?

• Serve as the lifeguard on duty.


• Responsible for observing and patrolling the pool area, enforcing safety regulations as outlined in American Red Cross Lifeguard standards


• Assist swimmers in and around the pool area as well as swim instructors, as needed


• Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical services.


• Prepare and maintain appropriate incident reports.

What are we looking for in a Deck Supervisor?

• Maintain Red Cross Lifeguard certification, Red Cross CPR/AED certification for adult, infant and swimmer


• Previous swim instruction experience is required


• Must be able to successfully complete all life-guarding prerequisites to American Red Cross standards


• Immediate consideration applicants available for Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. from 2:45-6:30pm
