Job summary

SafeSplash Swim School Franchise is seeking an Assistant Manager in the New Jersey area to work closely with the location owner, set policies, recruit and train staff, enforce service standards, and oversee payroll, benefits, and daily retail operations.

The role requires 2 years of customer-service management, strong scheduling software skills, and a team-oriented leadership style. Evening/weekend availability is needed; swim-related experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 2 years of management experience in customer service.
• Extensive experience with computer scheduling software.
• A Team-driven leader: cares about staff and leads with the intent to build up the whole team.
• Flexible schedule: will be required to work some evenings and weekends.
• Preferred Skills: Swim Lesson and/or competitive swimming experience; knowledge of the four basic strokes and teaching curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the location owner to set up and maintain location policies and procedures within the Streamline Brands Franchise structure.
• Maintain staff by recruiting, hiring, orienting, scheduling, and training employees.
• Maintain quality customer service by enforcing high customer service standards amongst all employees.
• Manage employee policies and procedures, payroll, and employee benefits.
• Responsible for location retail including managing inventory levels, ordering, and sales.
