Job summary

British Swim School of Cleveland West Shore in Avon Lake, OH seeks a friendly swim instructor to teach lessons to children and adults using our progressive aquatics program.

You will work under the Aquatics Manager, follow safety standards, and maintain certifications while delivering engaging, life-saving instruction. Training is provided, with opportunities for advancement within a fast-growing team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, equivalent, or in progress.
• Enthusiastic personality.
• Comfortable around water; strong swimming is a plus.
• Must maintain certifications throughout employment.
• Must complete British Swim School Aquatics training and testing.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to and supports the Aquatics Manager and/or Business Owner(s).
• Instructs swimming lessons per program standards and maintains certifications.
• Work a flexible schedule that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Work in an environment with moderate to high noise and be in the water during the shift.
