Job summary

The Fox Valley Park District is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor for Vaughan Aquatic Center in Aurora, IL. You will deliver swim lessons, supervise swimmers, and follow the curriculum for your level, reporting progress to parents and maintaining safety in the water.

The ideal candidate is 16 or older, reliable, able to swim for long periods, and has strong communication for customer service. You must be able to work mornings, weekends, and holidays and obtain CPR/AED certification within 30

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction for lessons under supervision.
• Follow curriculum for assigned level and monitor progress for parents.
• Maintain daily records and ensure active supervision for water safety.
• Enforce policies and participate in in-service training.
• Assist with pool deck cleanliness and hazard prevention.
