Job summary

Fox Valley Park District in Aurora, IL is seeking a part-time Golf Academy Instructor to lead youth lessons and camps, delivering engaging instruction and prioritizing safety and enjoyment.

The position requires thorough knowledge of golf, excellent customer service and communication, CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 3 months, and a valid driver's license with own transportation.

Qualifications

• Thorough knowledge of golf; ability to work with minimum supervision to perform required duties with initiative, good judgment, integrity, and courtesy.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Must have CPR/First Aid Certification or obtain through the Park District within 3 months of hire.
• Must have valid drivers license and provide own transportation.
• Level-based progression (Level 1–5) reflects growing experience and certification expectations.

Responsibilities

• Instructs Golf Classes/Camps according to course curriculum and as designated by the Golf Program Director.
• Explains and demonstrates appropriate golf skills & drills for the class level and adapts instruction to different abilities.
• Prioritizes safety and enjoyment for youth participants.
• Collaborates with the Golf Program Director and park district staff to ensure program quality.
