Job summary

YMCA of the North Shore is hiring Swim Instructors to teach swim lessons for children and adults using the YMCA Swim Curriculum. We provide paid training, shadowing, and ongoing coaching in a supportive team environment.

Responsibilities include leading group and private lessons, promoting water safety, and creating an inclusive learning space where every swimmer progresses with confidence. Flexible scheduling helps balance life and work.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred – or willing to obtain.
• Positive attitude, love of the water, and desire to make a difference.
