Job summary

YMCA is hiring a Swim Instructor to teach lessons for children and adults, creating a safe and encouraging learning environment. You will use YMCA curriculums and maintain safe pool operations while building positive relationships with swimmers and their families.

You will prepare equipment, follow safety standards, and motivate participants to progress. This role emphasizes community impact, teamwork, and the YMCA values in every interaction.

  • Ensure all pool and safety guidelines are followed at all times.
  • Build positive relationships with swimmers and their families.
  • Prepare lesson equipment before class and store it properly afterward.
