Job summary

YMCA of the North Shore is hiring Swim Instructors to teach children and adults, using the YMCA Swim Curriculum. You will lead group and private lessons, promote water safety, and foster a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Part-time opportunity with paid training, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for professional growth within a mission-driven community.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Current certifications in Lifeguarding/Swim Instruction, Pro CPR, First Aid, and Oxygen preferred – or willing to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to children and adults of all ages and abilities.
• Lead engaging group and private lessons using the YMCA Swim Curriculum.
• Promote water safety while helping participants build confidence and achieve their goals.
• Create a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment.
• Celebrate each swimmer's progress and make every lesson fun and meaningful.
