Job summary

Goldfish Swim School in Warrington Township is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to teach children water safety and stroke technique using our curriculum. You will work under the Deck Supervisor, delivering engaging lessons and enforcing safety rules, while providing progress updates to parents.

Flexible hours, paid training, and advancement opportunities are available as the school grows. Lifeguard/CPR/First Aid certifications are required or obtained during training; prior childcare

Qualifications

• Be able to work with children.
• Excellent interpersonal communication and organizational skills.
• Must pass background examinations (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Provide swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
• Enforce safety rules and assist with rescues and first aid when needed.
• Evaluate students' progress and complete required paperwork promptly.
• Interact with parents/guardians about students' progress.
• Act as a GSS ambassador to ensure parental satisfaction.
• Assist with maintenance and cleaning duties as assigned.
• Attend mandatory workshops and training outside regular hours.
