Responsibilities
- Teach swim lessons to children aged 4 months to 12 years in a 90° pool.
- Promote a positive environment that fosters fun, safety, and learning.
- Treat every student fairly and equally, encouraging a supportive environment.
- Arrive on time and fulfill commitments to scheduled shifts.
- Ensure the safety of swim‑lesson students at all times.
- Deliver swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum.
- Evaluate student progress and complete required paperwork promptly.
- Interact with parents/guardians about activities and development, acting as a GFSS ambassador.
- Use problem‑solving and creative thinking to resolve challenges that students encounter.
- Inspect pool areas before and after each class for maintenance, cleanliness, or damage issues and report them to management.
- Maintain proper storage of all pool equipment; place and remove lane lines.
- Perform light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, and trash removal as needed.
- Attend required training, workshops, and in‑service sessions outside normal working hours.
- Assume additional responsibilities as given by a supervisor and cross‑train when required.
