Swim Instructors teach students ranging in ages 4 months - 12 years in a 90 degree pool! Looking to fill positions ASAP. Hiring process can take less than 1 week!

General Requirements

• Must have reliable transportation
• Promote a positive environment that fosters fun, safety, and learning
• Treat every student fairly and equally regardless of circumstances and abilities, making each feel good about themselves and encouraging a fun environment.
• Arrive with ample time to report to position at the scheduled time
• Be responsible and fulfill your commitments to scheduled shifts
• Ensure the safety of swim lesson students at all times
• Provides swim instruction based on the Goldfish Swim School curriculum
• Evaluates students progress, and completes required paperwork in a timely manner
• Interacts with parents/guardians on the activities and development of students’ swim skills. Acts as a GFSS “ambassador” to ensure parental satisfaction
• Uses problem solving and creative thinking skills to identify and resolve challenges that students encounter
• Inspects pool areas before and after each class for possible maintenance, cleanliness or damage issues. Reports issues to management as appropriate
• Maintains and ensures proper storage of all pool equipment. Places and removes lane lines
• Performs light cleaning duties such as window washing, deck mopping, trash removal etc. on occasion
• Attend required/mandatory training, workshops and in-service training outside of regular working hours
• Assume other responsibilities as given by a supervisor. Willingness to cross train as needed
