Job summary

Exos Tampa is seeking a part-time Swim Instructor to lead lessons for multiple levels and age groups. You will plan drills, demonstrate techniques, and assess progress while ensuring a safe, encouraging environment for all participants.

The role requires current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications, plus Red Cross Lifeguarding. Prior lifeguarding or swim-instruction experience is highly preferred, and candidates must be at least 16 years old.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications or ability to obtain at the time of hire.
• Current Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification or ability to obtain at the time of hire.
• Prior lifeguarding or swim-instruction experience preferred.
• Must be at least 16 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Teach swim lessons to various levels and ages per site guidelines.
• Plan lessons, drills, and evaluate student progress.
• Demonstrate skills, correct technique, and minimize fear.
• Maintain a safe, positive teaching environment and records.
• Communicate progress to students or parents and enforce rules.
