Job summary

SafeSplash Cedar Park is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills using our Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, safe setting.

You will provide positive corrective feedback, structure class time, and ensure swimmer safety, with training provided if needed.

Preferred WSI certification and CPR/First Aid; assistance obtaining certifications within 60 days. Flexible scheduling and free swim lessons for your children are offered.

Qualifications

• Teaching swimming skills per Streamline Brands curriculum.
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students.
• Structure class time to include repetition, reinforcement and skill introduction.
• Ensure swimmer safety throughout sessions.

Responsibilities

• Teach swimming according to curriculum in a fun, safe environment.
• Provide ongoing feedback to students and customers about progress.
• Organize class time to cover required skills efficiently.
• Maintain swimmer safety during all activities.

What will you do as a Swim Instructor?

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety

What are we looking for in a Swim Instructor?

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you
• WSI certification preferred
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.
