Job summary

SafeSplash Denver (Park Hill) is seeking a Swim Instructor to teach swimming skills in alignment with the Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, supportive environment. You will provide positive corrective feedback and structure classes to reinforce skills while ensuring swimmer safety.

Experience in swim instruction is preferred; training is available. Certifications like WSI, CPR/AED, and First Aid are valued, with company assistance offered to obtain them within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Previous swim instruction is preferred but we are happy to train you.
• WSI certification preferred.
• Current American Red Cross CPR-PR/AED, First Aid for adult, swimmer and infant preferred but we will help you get certified in 60 days of hire.
• Special consideration given to instructors with experience teaching swimmers age 6 months to 10 years and Special Needs.

Responsibilities

• The main focus of a swim instructor is to teach swimming skills in accordance with Streamline Brands curriculum in a fun, positive manner
• Provide continuous, positive corrective feedback to students and customers on their swimming efforts
• Structure class time appropriately to incorporate repetition, reinforcement, and introduction of required skills
• Ensure swimmer safety
