Job summary

GlobalPoint in Charlotte, NC is seeking a senior software analysis and development professional for long-term on-site deployment and production readiness of SWIFT services. You will analyze requirements, design technical solutions, and lead automation efforts in an Agile environment.

The role requires experience with CI/CD, AI/automation, and knowledge of SWIFT products (Alliance Access, Gateway, Messaging Hub), plus distributed UNIX/MQ operations and strong networking/security understanding.

Qualifications

• Application development and implementation experience.
• Experience with Agile Scrum teams.
• Experience with CI/CD, AI and automation.
• Experience implementing and supporting SWIFT services such as SWIFTNet, FIN, Interact or Fileact.
• Experience with an application in a distributed environment (UNIX/MQ).
• Knowledge of SWIFT software products and MT/MX standards.
• Knowledge and understanding of networking and security concepts.

Responsibilities

• Work in an Agile environment.
• Analyze requirements, designs, and document technical solutions.
• Lead or perform analysis efforts, development (scripts, automation).
• Manage projects and work-related stories/issues, including deployment to production.
• Ensure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for the supported area.
• Perform various application software installations, deployment, performance testing, and configuration changes.
• Monitor system and application changes that impact SWIFT Services; forecast demand and advise on expansion.
• Create or update documentation related to the activity performed (design document, maintenance procedure, troubleshooting document).
• Communicate changes/upgrades to all customers.
• Follow incident, change and problem management policies in coordination with Product support teams.
• Troubleshoot problems and coordinate with other teams; participate in on-call rotations.
• Act as escalation point for application support and guide Platform Support.
