As a Sweeper Operator at Pro-Vac, you will help keep neighborhoods, roads, and waterways clean and safe, advancing road safety and water protection while working

Qualifications

• Must hold CDL Class A or B with Tanker Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform daily physical activity.
• Willing to work flexible day and night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe work practices in line with company and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrate professionalism in customer relations and service delivery.
• Operate Sweeper & Water trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

As a Sweeper Operator at Pro-Vac...

You will help support our communities by keeping neighborhoods, roads, and waterways clean and free of pollutant build-up and damage. Our sweeping services help make Washington a better place to live by improving road safety, reducing flooding, and preventing water contamination. What you'll LOVEdoing...

• Implementing safe work practices, as well as adhering to company, local and federal regulations.
• Demonstrating professionalism and excellence in customer relations and services provided.
• Operating equipment and driving, including Sweeper & Water trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Performing pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

Physical & Working Conditions

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
