Job summary

Pro-Vac in Washington is seeking a Sweeper Operator to help keep roads, neighborhoods and waterways clean and safe.

You will work with a team of sweepers, ensuring safety, performing vehicle inspections, and assisting communities with pollutant prevention and water protection. Training is provided, with day and night shifts available and a focus on personal development.

Qualifications

• Must-have: Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Must-have: ability to lift at least 50 lbs and perform daily physical activity.
• Ability to work outdoors and adapt to varying weather and terrain.
• Positive, motivated teamwork and reliability are essential.

Responsibilities

• Implement safe work practices and follow regulations.
• Demonstrate professionalism in customer relations and service.
• Operate Sweeper and Water trucks safely and efficiently.

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
