Job summary

Pro-Vac, located in Ferris, Texas, is seeking a Hydrovac Truck Operator. In this role, you will work with the largest Vac-Con fleet in the U.S., traveling daily to provide sustainable environmental services. This position offers competitive hourly pay ($27-32) and a range of benefits, plus comprehensive training!

The ideal candidate will be a licensed CDL driver with experience in line cleaning and CCTV. Pro-Vac prides itself on an employee-centric work culture, encouraging growth and investment in your future.

Qualifications

• Licensed Class A or B CDL Driver with necessary endorsements.
• Experience in line cleaning and CCTV is required.
• Ability to pass drug, MVR & background screenings.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of job sites and equipment.
• Perform vehicle inspections before and after trips.

Skills

What you'll LOVE doing...

• Traveling is required in this role.
• Driving and operating equipment, including Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Practicing proper housekeeping by keeping job sites & trucks clean, putting tools away, and ensuring an organized workspace.
• Performing pre-trip & post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrating professionalism and excellence during customer relations and services provided.

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
