Job summary

Pro-Vac is seeking a Sweeper Operator to support our communities by keeping roads and waterways clean in Washington. You will work with a team, receive supervisor support, and perform duties that require physical effort and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs and perform daily physical activity.
• Possess a Class A or B CDL with Tanker Endorsement and Air Brake Endorsements.
• Positive, motivated self-starter with reliable team attitude.
• Willing to learn and grow with a company focused on development.

Responsibilities

• Implement and follow safe work practices in accordance with regulations.
• Operate Sweeper and Water trucks safely and efficiently.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.

As a Sweeper Operator at Pro-Vac...

You will help support our communities by keeping neighborhoods, roads, and waterways clean and free of pollutant build-up and damage. Our sweeping services help make Washington a better place to live by improving road safety, reducing flooding, and preventing water contamination. Every day, you will work in a new environment, collaborate with other sweepers on our team to increase the quality of your work, and receive one-one-one support from your supervisors that value getting to know their team members on a personal level. • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, and wet conditions
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols
