Job summary

Pro-Vac is seeking a motivated Vac-truck operator to join our field team. You will drive Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and keep job sites clean and organized while delivering safe, professional service to contractors, utilities, and government partners.

Qualifications

• CDL Class A or B with Tanker and Air Brake endorsements is required.
• Experienced vac-truck operator is required.
• Must pass drug, MVR, and background screenings.
• Able to work nights, weekends and extended hours when necessary.
• Able to lift up to 80 lbs and perform daily physical activity.

Responsibilities

• Drive and operate Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain housekeeping: keep job sites and trucks clean and organized.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstrate professionalism and excellence in customer relations and services.

• Driving and operatingequipment, including Eductor/Vacuum/Pump trucks, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Practicingproper housekeeping by keeping job sites & trucks clean, putting tools away, and ensuring an organized workspace.
• Performingpre-trip & post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Demonstratingprofessionalism and excellence during customer relations and services provided.

Requirements

• A licensedClass A or Class B CDL DriverwithTanker&Air BrakeEndorsements Apositiveandmotivatedself-starter!
• Anexperienced vac-truck operatorlooking to expand your career.
• Able to successfullypass drug, MVR & background screenings.
• Can work in excess of regularly scheduled hours when necessary,including nights, weekends and on-call.

PHYSICAL& WORKING CONDITIONS

If you thrive working outdoors and hands-on, here's what this role demands:

• Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.; frequent bending, kneeling, climbing, and working at heights.
• Standing and moving for extended periods; operating vehicles across varied terrain.
• Perceiving auditory safety signals, verbal warnings, and radio communications in active field environments.
• Wearing all required PPE including OSHA-compliant respirators, hearing protection, eye protection, gloves, and safety footwear.
• Reading site documentation and accurately operating equipment controls.
• Working outdoors in heat, cold, rain and wet conditions.
• Maintaining situational awareness around active traffic, heavy machinery, and underground utilities.
• Working in confined spaces per applicable safety protocols.
