Job summary

Gladney Center for Adoption Inc is seeking an Adoption Coordinator to manage the statewide SWAN program and Post-Permanency Services. You will provide case management, coordinate child and family profiles, and maintain records for accurate reporting.

Responsibilities include expanding the SWAN program, delivering presentations, and attending relevant events to earn CE credits while supporting families before and after placement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
• MSW preferred; state licensure may be required depending on caseload and program needs.
• Minimum of six months of direct SWAN adoption and family services experience.
• Proven experience delivering public presentations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities with sound judgment and decision-making.
• Skilled in facilitating meetings involving families and children.
• Proficient in basic computer applications including word processing, email and database management.
• Highly organized with strong planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the SWAN and Post Permanency Services programs to ensure services meet all program requirements.
• Coordinate completion of child and family profiles as referred.
• Maintain accurate records and complete SWAN benchmark reporting.
• Ensure documentation and benchmark reports comply with contracts.
• Provide statistics and reports on SWAN activities as needed.
• Represent Gladney at SWAN meetings and public events.
• Assist the adoption program unit in building and expanding the SWAN program.
• Provide backup support to other social work positions as needed.
• Attend educational events for continuing education credits.
