Job summary

State Street seeks a Head of Technology Governance and Program Management to uplift independent governance of risk, regulatory programs and remediation, delivering through dependency management and transparent reporting.

The role partners with CIO leadership and country leaders, manages cross-border teams, and directs large-scale transformation programs to ensure alignment with CAO standards and regulator expectations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with executive leadership experience.
• Experience managing complex transformation/remediation programs in regulated environments.
• Regulated financial services expertise with large-scale technology transformation.
• Experience leading cross-border teams and coordinating with regulators.
• Extensive experience managing large third parties critical to program success.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent program execution across technology regulatory and risk transformation initiatives.
• Collaborate with CIO leadership, second and third line teams, and country leaders for alignment and escalation management.
• Manage dependencies across programs to minimize surprises and ensure multi-source outcomes.
• Provide clear reporting to organizational committees, regulators, and stakeholders.
• Manage senior managers handling gap findings and remediation planning; supervise program managers.
• Ensure continuity of program management and detailed execution planning with adequate resources.
