Job summary

Citi in New York is seeking an SVP to drive supplier engagement for its Trade Payables Finance programs, including SCF, Dynamic Discounting, and Payables Advance. You will lead revenue growth through supplier onboarding, cross-sell opportunities, and strategic client relationships.

The role may include people management, mentoring SEMs, and coordinating onboarding programs while ensuring robust risk governance and data-driven performance reviews.

Responsibilities

• Drive Revenue & Portfolio Growth: Lead the supplier engagement sales strategy for Citi's Supplier Finance programs, developing and executing campaigns to drive supplier adoption and growth.
• Manage the Full Sales Cycle: Build and manage a robust supplier pipeline from prospecting to closure, deliver presentations to Treasury/Finance professionals, and negotiate terms.
• Lead and Mentor a High-Performing Team: Act as a player/coach, manage accounts and mentor SEMs.
• Strategic Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with buyer and supplier stakeholders, reviews and opportunities.
• Maintain Risk & Governance Excellence: Collaborate with Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, Banking, and Trade Sales to ensure a compliant portfolio.
• Execute Onboarding & Program Strategy: Coordinate supplier onboarding and webinars/events to educate suppliers and enroll them.
• Performance & Data Oversight: Lead periodic reviews, track activity, and optimize strategy using data and Nirvana.
