The hiring range for this role is:

201,392.00 - 282,440.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range depends on factors including, but not limited to, competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Primary Job Functions

  • Leads strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of pharmacy supply chain pricing contracts for health plan clients and pharmacy benefit administrators.
  • Implements processes to manage pharmacy supply chain effectively, ensuring drug contract compliance and strategic communication.
  • Collaborates across Blue Cross Blue Shield to ensure operational and financial success with plan stakeholders.
  • Develops operational policies and best practices to optimize performance of pharmacy supply chain offerings.
  • Monitors and improves the financial and operational performance of pharmacy supply chain products.
  • Builds and leads a small team, fostering a culture of service and performance.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience

Required: 15 years in senior healthcare finance, underwriting, operations, or supply chain leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in the prescription drug delivery industry and data management tools.
  • Leadership experience in complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong background in pharmacy benefits management and healthcare payer pricing.
  • Knowledge of financial controls, auditing, customer service, claims, market research, and contract administration.
  • Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans is preferred.
  • Proven success in executing growth initiatives in healthcare.
  • Leadership skills including vision setting, coaching, and results delivery.
  • Excellent analytical, planning, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on problem-solving approach.
  • Ability to influence health plan leaders effectively.
  • Adaptability to a dynamic environment.
  • Technical proficiency in Microsoft applications.
