The hiring range for this role is:

201,392.00 - 282,440.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may be based on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

The Senior Vice President Pharmacy Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the success of the organization through strategic and operational oversight of Synergie's pharmacy supply chain solutions, including engagement with pharmacy network providers and vendors. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead growth in a critical healthcare segment.

Primary Job Functions

1. Lead strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of pharmacy supply chain pricing contracts for health plan clients and pharmacy benefit administrators.
2. Implement processes to manage pharmacy supply chain effectively, ensuring drug contract compliance and strategic communication to plan participants.
3. Collaborate across the Blue Cross Blue Shield organization to ensure operational and financial success with plan stakeholders.
4. Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices in collaboration with stakeholders.
5. Manage financial and operational performance of pharmacy supply chain products, identifying areas for optimization.
6. Build and develop a small team, fostering a culture of service and performance.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience

Required: 15 years of success in senior healthcare finance, underwriting, operations, or supply chain leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Experience in the prescription drug delivery industry and data management tools.
• Leadership experience in projects involving multiple stakeholders.
• Strong background in pharmacy benefits management, networks, and healthcare payer pricing.
• Knowledge of financial controls, auditing, customer service, claims, market research, and contract administration.
• Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans is preferred.
• Proven success in executing growth initiatives in healthcare.
• Leadership skills in setting vision, coaching, and results delivery.
• Analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
• Hands-on problem-solving approach.
• Ability to influence health plan leaders positively.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
