The hiring range for this role is:

201,392.00 - 282,440.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors such as competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

The Senior Vice President of Pharmacy Supply Chain is a senior leadership role responsible for shaping the organization’s success, setting strategy, and managing operations related to pharmacy supply chain solutions, including engagement with pharmacy network providers and vendors. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead growth in a critical healthcare segment.

Primary Job Functions

  • Lead strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of pharmacy supply chain pricing contracts for health plan clients and pharmacy benefit administrators.
  • Oversee processes to manage pharmacy supply chain, drug contract compliance, and communication strategies to plan participants.
  • Collaborate with Blue Cross Blue Shield organizations to ensure operational and financial success.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize performance.
  • Manage financial and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency.
  • Build and develop a team, fostering a culture of service and performance.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience

Required: 15 years in senior healthcare finance, underwriting, operations, or supply chain leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in the prescription drug delivery industry and data management tools.
  • Leadership experience in projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong background in pharmacy benefits management, networks, and healthcare payer pricing.
  • Knowledge of financial controls, auditing, customer service, claims, market research, and contract administration.
  • Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans is preferred.
  • Proven success in growth initiatives within healthcare.
  • Leadership skills including vision setting, coaching, and results delivery.
  • Analytical, planning, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Hands-on problem solving approach.
  • Ability to influence health plan leaders positively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technologies.
