The hiring range for this role is:

201,392.00 - 282,440.00

This is the lowest to highest salary we, in good faith, believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the hiring range, and this range may also be modified in the future. A candidate's position within the range may depend on factors including, but not limited to, competencies, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, performance, shift, travel requirements, and organizational needs. This job is also eligible for an annual bonus incentive pay.

Primary Job Functions

  • Leads strategy, implementation, operations, and financial analysis of pharmacy supply chain contracts for health plan clients and PBMs.
  • Implements processes to manage pharmacy supply chain, drug contract compliance, and communication strategies.
  • Collaborates within Blue Cross Blue Shield to ensure operational and financial success.
  • Develops operational policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize performance.
  • Monitors and improves the financial and operational performance of pharmacy supply chain products.
  • Builds and leads a team, fostering a culture of service and performance.

Education, Experience, and Certification

Education

Required: Bachelor's Degree

Preferred: Master's Degree

Experience

Required: 15 years of success in healthcare finance, underwriting, operations, or supply chain leadership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience in the prescription drug industry and data analysis tools.
  • Leadership experience in projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Strong background in pharmacy benefits, networks, and healthcare payer operations.
  • Knowledge of financial controls, auditing, customer service, claims, and contract management.
  • Experience with Blue Cross Blue Shield plans is preferred.
  • Proven success in growth initiatives within healthcare.
  • Leadership skills in setting vision, coaching, and results delivery.
  • Analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Hands-on approach to solving business challenges.
  • Ability to influence health plan leaders and operate in a dynamic environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related technologies.
