Halff Associates, Inc. seeks a Senior Vice President of Information Technology to lead the technology function of a growing, employee-owned engineering firm.

This executive role shapes IT strategy, people, systems, and infrastructure to support collaboration, client service, and complex projects across offices. You will oversee IT operations, cybersecurity, infrastructure, end-user support, enterprise systems, data governance, and software engineering while partnering with executive leaders to

Qualifications

• Significant progressive experience leading enterprise information technology functions (IT operations, infrastructure, cybersecurity, enterprise applications).
• Demonstrated record of developing and executing technology strategies with measurable business outcomes.
• Experience leading large, multidisciplinary technology organizations through subordinate leaders.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, risk management, cloud and hybrid infrastructure, networking, and data governance.
• Experience overseeing software engineering or application development.
• Strong financial acumen including budgeting, total cost of ownership, vendor management and licensing.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills translating tech issues to business impact.
• Proven ability to lead organizational change and adopt new technologies.
• Experience in engineering, architecture, construction, or professional services is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Set the Technology Strategy: develop multi-year strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals.
• Lead IT Operations & Infrastructure: oversee IT infra, networks, cloud and on-prem environments.
• Protect the Firm: own cybersecurity strategy, risk management, and compliance.
• Enable Business Systems & Software: oversee ERP and enterprise applications, software development.
• Lead Data & Emerging Technology: establish data governance and explore AI and automation.
• Manage the Business of IT: budget, vendor contracts, and technology investments.
• Build a High-Performing Team: develop directors and managers, professional growth.
