Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks an Infrastructure & IT Operations Manager I to lead enterprise infrastructure, oversee Cisco VoIP/Unigy platforms, and drive VDI, SCCM/MECM, and SCORCH initiatives. The role partners with multiple teams to ensure secure, available, and compliant operations across Trading Floor and enterprise environments.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in enterprise IT ops, strong leadership, and hands-on experience with Microsoft, virtualization, networking, and security controls.

Qualifications

• The candidate has 10+ years of hands-on enterprise infrastructure and IT operations experience.
• Proven leadership of technical staff and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong experience with Cisco VoIP/UC, IPC Unigy, and Trading Floor voice platforms.
• Extensive VDI experience (Nutanix/VMware Horizon) and endpoint management.
• Solid SCCM/MECM skills for software deployment and patching.
• Hands-on Microsoft System Center Orchestrator and automation experience.
• Proficiency with Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, Group Policy.
• Experience in highly available production environments and financial services is a plus.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; ITIL or vendor certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily Infrastructure & IT Operations activities and mentor staff.
• Ensure enterprise services are available, stable, and secure.
• Manage VoIP/telephony including Cisco UC and IPC Unigy platforms.
• Oversee VDI availability, performance, and image management.
• Administer SCCM/MECM for endpoint configuration and patching.
• Develop SCORCH runbooks and automate provisioning/workflows.
• Maintain security controls, backups, logging, and disaster recovery readiness.
• Monitor logs and proactively identify service-impacting issues.
• Coordinate incidents, maintenance, upgrades, migrations with teams and vendors.
• Maintain AD, GPO, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server, and related services.
• Lead change control, configuration management, and documentation.
