Job summary

BBVA in New York seeks a VP, eSales – Fixed Income & FX, Americas to lead the eConnectivity franchise across the Americas. You will drive digital growth, low-touch sales and business intelligence, working with Sales, Trading, Structuring, Product and Engineering to expand electronic distribution.

The role calls for 7+ years in Global Markets, fluency in English (Spanish valued), and licensing (SIE/Series 7/63). Base salary ranges from 180,000 to 205,000 USD with a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline.
• 7+ years of Global Markets experience with electronic trading, eSales or digital distribution preferred.
• Strong knowledge of financial markets, FI/FX, and electronic trading workflows.
• Proven commercial mindset with Institutional/Corporate client experience.
• Direct people-management experience preferred; able to lead cross-functional initiatives.
• Fluent English; Spanish valued given regional/global scope.

Responsibilities

• Own and grow the e-Fixed Income and e-FX franchises across the Americas, including revenues and digital KPIs.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities with Institutional and Corporate clients to raise digital adoption.
• Lead the Low Touch Sales proposition and coordinate with Sales, Coverage and product teams.
• Act as the regional eConnectivity expert and senior escalation point for complex client needs.
• Drive rollout of new platforms and connectivity solutions with Trading, Product and Engineering teams.
• Translate client needs into requirements for Product and Engineering and prioritize initiatives.
• Leverage data to identify opportunities and monitor franchise performance for targeted actions.
• Disseminate digital business intelligence to translate insights into measurable actions.
• Collaborate with Global Heads of eConnectivity to implement regional strategy while aligning with global priorities.
