Job summary

University Support Services, LLC is seeking a hands-on SVP, Human Resources to lead its HR function and improve how HR supports employees, managers, and institutional leaders across multiple locations as the HR structure moves to a centralized shared service model.

Reporting to the CFO, this leader will run day-to-day HR delivery, develop the HR team, resolve operating issues, and deliver measurable improvements in service, responsiveness, and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• Fifteen+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Seven+ years in a senior HR leadership role.
• Based in Great River, NY with on-site presence.
• Willing to travel 25–30% to campuses and locations.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day HR delivery and service standards across institutions.
• Oversee the transition to a centralized shared services model.
• Drive change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Stabilize Workday post go-live and ensure data quality.
• Build HR recruiting, talent, and succession practices.
• Oversee compensation and benefits with cross-functional partners.
• Guide HR team, budget, and vendors with measurable KPIs.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field
