Job summary

Medforth is seeking a hands-on Senior Vice President, Human Resources to lead a centralized HR function across campuses, reporting to the CFO. The role includes delivering day-to-day HR operations, building the HR team, and driving measurable improvements in service, responsiveness, and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive HR experience including 7+ years in a senior HR leadership role responsible for multiple functions.
• Experience implementing shared service transitions and centralized operating models across multiple campuses or institutions.
• Experience leading HR through Workday go-live, stabilization, and post-implementation support.
• Ability to work across countries, regulatory environments, and varied employment arrangements.
• Experience in higher education, healthcare education, or regulated services is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Own HR service delivery and establish standards, processes, and accountability for centralized services.
• Lead the transition to a centralized HR shared services model across campuses and locations.
• Drive change management and stakeholder adoption across diverse institutions.
• Ensure Workday stabilization, data quality, and HRIS governance with IT and Finance.
• Build recruiting, performance management, leadership development, and succession processes.
• Oversee compensation programs and benefits administration in partnership with Finance.
• Provide employee and manager support while ensuring compliance with employment laws.
• Develop HR leaders, manage budgets and vendors, and establish KPIs and baselines.
