Job summary

The Blackstone Group L.P. is seeking a Senior Vice President, Engineering Manager to lead Finance and Operations Technology platforms.

You will own architecture, delivery, and platform reliability for enterprise‑grade finance systems, driving automation, data infrastructure, and integration with the firm's ledger ecosystem. Qualifications

• 15+ years in software engineering or financial systems tech with leadership.
• Proven experience leading enterprise finance/platform projects.
• Hands-on architecture, APIs, cloud-native delivery, and platform engineering.
• Ability to manage senior stakeholders and trade-offs with reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, architecture, delivery for Finance/Operations tech.
• Design/implement finance oversight, automation, data infra, integrations.
• Partner with Finance, Treasury, Ops, Data Eng to shape roadmap.
• Act as player-coach; mentor engineers; stay hands-on when needed.
• Set best practices: CI/CD, testing, observability, security, ops.
• Drive cloud, microservices, APIs, orchestration, distributed systems.
• Oversee GL integrations, data warehouses, ETL, reporting stacks.
• Collaborate with Security and Risk for controls and compliance.
• Improve monitoring, incident response, capacity, DR readiness.
• Recruit and develop top engineering talent; grow career paths.
