Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President, Alternative Delivery Project Director – Federal Programs to lead the Federal Alternative Delivery Team across offices including Arlington, VA and other locations.

This executive role focuses on advancing federal alternative delivery and contractor-led design-build programs. You will shape capture strategies, oversee pursuits through procurement, and drive delivery excellence, risk management, and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 15+ years leading contractor-led design-build for federal DoW/federal programs and large complex programs.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management, or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
• Professional licensure such as PE/RA; PMP/DBIA considered a plus.
• Strong understanding of federal/DoW design-build frameworks and CPARS.
• Executive leadership across pre-award and post-award phases, pursuit strategy and delivery oversight.
• Proven ability to build senior client and contractor relationships and drive federal market growth.
• Strong business acumen and executive-level communication of complex concepts.
• Experience in industry organizations such as DBIA or SAME is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project delivery/collaboration tools.
• Commitment to safety, ethics, quality, inclusion, and policy compliance.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership for federal alternative delivery pursuits and projects, balancing capture, teaming, and negotiations.
• Lead federal BD and capture with regional and national teams, including RFQ/RFP interpretation and source selections.
• Oversee project execution with periodic reviews, risk management, and alignment to financial objectives.
• Engage with contractor executives through strategic discussions and project reporting.
• Lead after-action reviews to capture lessons and improve firm-wide best practices.
• Represent WSP in industry organizations and relevant forums.
• Adhere to internal policies and contribute to continuous improvement.
