Job summary

Emprise Bank is seeking a Senior Vice President of Software Engineering & Transformation to lead the bank's technology transformation, AI adoption, and modern engineering practices.

The role partners with executive teams to set strategy, drive capable platforms, and deliver measurable improvements in customer experience, efficiency, and risk management. You will coach leaders, build high-performing teams, and ensure governance and security while delivering innovative digital capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience spanning enterprise transformation, software engineering, digital strategy, AI adoption, and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products and capabilities, cloud technologies, modern software engineering practices, automation, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Proven success in developing and executing technology strategies and leading large-scale modernization within complex, regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and drive adoption of modern software engineering practices such as CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, AI-assisted development, and cloud-native development capabilities.
• Partner with business and technology leaders through Software Engineering Center of Excellence to establish shared standards and capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to improve delivery velocity, quality, scalability, and developer experience with AI-enabled capabilities.
• Enable teams to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies, including AI, while maintaining security, governance, and architectural alignment.
• Collaborate with enterprise and solution architects to establish reusable patterns, reference architectures, and technology standards.
