Job summary

Emprise Bank seeks a Senior Vice President of Software Engineering & Transformation to lead the bank's technology transformation, AI adoption, and development of modern engineering capabilities. Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience spanning enterprise transformation and AI adoption.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/Business or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Experience delivering AI-enabled products, cloud technologies, and modern software practices.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale modernization in regulated environments with measurable outcomes.
• Strong prioritization, decisive leadership, and accountability.
• Experience evaluating build-versus-buy decisions with partners and ecosystems.
• Executive presence and stakeholder management across business and tech.

Responsibilities

• Lead software engineering enablement with modern practices like CI/CD, DevSecOps, automation, and AI-enabled development.
• Collaborate with leaders to set standards and accelerate responsible software delivery.
• Improve delivery velocity, quality, scalability, and developer experience.
• Evaluate emerging technologies including AI while ensuring security and governance.
• Partner with architects to establish reusable patterns and standards.
• Identify opportunities for customer-facing digital products and capabilities.
• Lead AI and agentic AI initiatives to boost productivity and customer experience.
• Partner with risk, compliance, legal, and data functions to ensure governance.
• Drive enterprise technology transformation from strategy to execution.
• Recruit, develop and lead high-performing teams; represent the bank externally.
