Job summary

Attain Finance, parent of Cash Money®, LendDirect®, and Heights Finance, seeks a SVP, Chief Information Security Officer to own security strategy and governance across the organization in a highly regulated financial services environment. You will partner with the CTO and report to the Chief Legal and Administrative Officer.

Lead an enterprise security program across operations, threat management, IAM, data protection, and vendor risk; build a proactive threat-hunting capability and an in-house

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in information security, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Deep knowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and standards (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls).
• Experience securing cloud-native or hybrid environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of the regulatory landscape relevant to financial services (SEC, FINRA, data privacy).
• Ability to communicate security risks to boards and investors.
• Experience building security programs in growth-stage financial firms.
• CISSP, CISM, or CRISC certifications preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the information security strategy, execution, and governance across the organization.
• Lead and develop a security team spanning operations, vulnerability management, IAM, and data protection.
• Manage the firm's security risk program, including risk assessments and remediation planning.
• Improve and maintain incident response capability, including detection, containment, and post-incident review.
• Ensure regulatory compliance with applicable requirements and industry frameworks.
• Report on security posture to the Board and executive leadership.
• Oversee third-party and vendor risk management.
• Champion an enterprise security awareness and training program.
• Evaluate and manage the security technology stack and threat landscape.
• Stand up and lead threat hunting and in-house red-team capabilities.
