Job summary

Attain Finance is seeking a Senior Vice President, Chief Information Security Officer to own the security strategy and governance across the organization. Partner with the CTO, report to the CAO, and align security with growth objectives while managing risk in a regulated financial services environment.

The role leads enterprise security programs, including threat hunting, incident response, vendor risk, and reporting to the Board. A deep background in financial services security is essential.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in information security with 5+ years in senior leadership.
• Deep knowledge of NIST CSF, ISO 27001, SOC 2, CIS Controls.
• Experience with cloud-native or hybrid environments (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Strong understanding of SEC, FINRA, and data privacy laws.
• Ability to communicate security risks to non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise-wide information security strategy and roadmap.
• Collaborate with CTO to integrate security into technology architecture.
• Lead security teams across operations, IAM, and data protection.
• Manage security risk program including assessments and remediation.
• Enhance incident response, containment, and post-incident reviews.
• Work with Compliance to meet regulatory requirements and frameworks.
• Report security posture to Board and leadership.
• Oversee third-party and vendor risk management.
• Champion security awareness across the organization.
• Evaluate and optimize security tech stack and spend.
• Stand up proactive threat hunting and red team capabilities.
