Job summary

Motion Industries is seeking a strategic VP & Chief Information Security Officer to lead the global information security program, align security with business goals, and guide governance, risk, and compliance initiatives at the enterprise level.

The role partners with senior management to manage security incidents, implement security projects, and ensure regulatory alignment across SOX/ITGC, while protecting revenue-generating operations and customer trust.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of information security leadership experience in a publicly traded company.
• Strong track record of executive-level security program management.
• Experience with SOX ITGC and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Defines and oversees Motion ISS strategy, IAM, Cyber Defense, and GRC.
• Matures enterprise ISS operating model spanning security strategy, governance, architecture, and incident response.
• Builds risk prioritization linking cyber remediation to business impact and resilience requirements.
• Maintains enterprise cybersecurity governance, including risk appetite, board reporting, and audit readiness.
• Leads security reporting to executives and the Board, tying risk to financial exposure and investments.
• Directs cybersecurity readiness for board reporting, disclosure escalation, and audit controls.
• Leads SEC disclosure readiness, including materiality, coordination, and post-incident lessons learned.
• Develops metrics to drive budgeting and decision-making in the operating environment.
• Oversees security projects across multi-subsidiary environments and diverse requirements.
