Job summary

Teradata seeks a dynamic Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer to lead the global accounting function, owning SEC reporting, technical accounting, operational controllership and financial shared services.

Reporting to the CFO, this role will be the top accounting executive, influencing the organization and partnering with IT on systems transformation while building strong internal controls and governance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
• CPA certification required.
• 15+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting experience, experience at a public company, and supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• SEC Reporting: Ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance and external reporting requirements.
• Operational Controllership: Standardize close processes and improve controls across entities.
• Revenue Recognition/Technical Accounting: Oversee issues and guidance with focus on revenue recognition.
• Financial Shared Services: Oversee AP, AR, GL, payroll and incentive compensation across regions.
